She has been bit, growled at and more. She has never given up and called Wildside for support. After working together for a month a half we decided to give him his forever safe home and asked Kita to help us gain his trust. We were aware of him meeting dogs by barking at them and being high energy till he calmed down. We decided to combat that with a giant field with him having plenty of space to stay away. We witnessed no barking or fear. Just calm normal friendly dog behavior. Kept it short at 10 minutes. Today will be their 2nd play date. Taking things slow and letting him bond with her before taking him home is not just best practices, but kind. Follow his journey home throughout week. ❤️❤️❤️
