THIS SATURDAY at 5:30p, jazz pianist Moses Mabarak will again be at the piano shaping the evening with a warm, improvisational sound rooted in classic jazz tradition. Expect a room carried by live piano while you enjoy wine, charcuterie, curated wines, bourbons, and our flatbread pizzas. It is an evening built for slowing down, settling into real conversation, and enjoying the room together.

Moses is a standout young musician in the Miami Valley whose talent has been recognized since childhood. He has grown into a versatile jazz artist, known for the sensitivity of his touch and the ease with which he moves through standards and modern arrangements. His work spans solo piano, small-ensemble jazz, and original pieces performed at regional events and showcases.
He performs regularly throughout the Dayton scene, including appearances with groups such as the Mosaic Jazz Ensemble and as part of house rhythm sections for area jazz jams. Audiences know him for his tasteful phrasing, confident improvisation, and a musical maturity well beyond his years.

Most weekends, you’ll find him filling rooms across the city with a relaxed, inviting sound. This Saturday, we are honored to welcome him to Socialite as he sets the tone for the evening from the piano.

THIS SATURDAY, May 9: join us for our Mother’s Day Afternoon Affair.

We’ll be featuring a thoughtful spread of tea cakes, fresh scones, and a selection of cakes and sweets, prepared to make the afternoon feel a bit more special. Our bakers have put together something worthy of the occasion, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.

To attend, please RSVP via Facebook Messenger with your party size (maximum of 6 guests) at $30 per person ($36 for bubbly tea). First seating is at 2pm, and second seating is at 3:30pm. Space is limited, and reservations will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

We’re welcoming a live jazz trio to set the tone while you enjoy a selection of red and white wines, bourbons, and whiskeys, paired with flatbread pizzas and charcuterie boards, whether you’re sharing or keeping it all to yourself.
