Forest Field Park in πCenterville is one of my favorite spots to take the kids when I need them to actually decompress. Wide open fields, a great accessible playground (and sensory play area!), and the bonus it connects to Bill Yeck Park walking trails π³
For military families PCS'ing to Wright-Patterson AFB who are thinking long-term β Centerville is a great option.
Less starter homes, more established homes. These are the homes people buy when they decide Dayton is where they're staying β military or not.

It's the most underpriced neighborhood near WPAFB for what you get β and it's literally right next to base.

β± 5β10 min commute to Wright-Patterson β the shortest in the area

Took the kids to Rotary Park in Beavercreek last weekend and it did not disappoint. Seven-acre lake, big playground, sandbox, walking path, and a skate park β my kids bounced between all of it and I actually caught my breath for five minutes. π
