Hello everyone,

I first want to take a moment to thank everyone for your incredible support. The efforts we have made possible in this campaign and across the state are thanks to hardworking and passionate voices like yours. I am proud to be part of that movement and am looking forward to continue that fight into the future.

From the beginning, it was my intention to continue this campaign and fight to bring true representation to the 72nd District as your State Representative. However, a recent change in circumstances has made me rethink this campaign. I do not wish to engage in a divisive primary when our goals will always be to elect new and strong leadership to Ohio.

So, after giving it a lot of thought, discussion with local leaders, supporters, friends and family, it is with a heavy heart that I announce I am suspending my campaign. I want to wish best of luck to Jeff Clapper in his run for the 72nd District and the best to all of our 2026 candidates.

Though I will not be a candidate in 2026, I will continue working everyday for a better Ohio and I hope you all will do the same.

Thank you all once again and let's get a win for our candidates in November!

Good afternoon everyone,

Hope you are staying warm on this cold Friday as we prepare for the weekend snow storms.

Despite the cold, it did not stop me from officially filling my petitions today in Ravenna. Thank you to all who signed my petition and see you on the May 5th primary!

Had a wonderful night at the Portage County Democratic Party headquarters tonight. Thank you to State Representative and Secretary of State Candidate Allison Russo for coming and speaking to us as well.

Ravenna to close elementary school, shift students around district 01/21/2026

Ravenna is losing one of it's schools.

This is a reminder that Ohio has needed to fix our school funding system for years and this legislature has not only failed at doing so, but disregarded it.

When I am in the Statehouse, we will restore and expand the fair-school funding act, because every child has the right to get an education.

It was a pleasure as always joining the Portage County Dems at our Central Committee meeting to discuss plans for 2026. Thank you to everyone who attended, especially Ohio Attorney General candidate John Kulewicz.

Thank you Portage County NAACP for an amazing breakfast as we bring our communities together to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In these times of fear and violence, let hope, love, and peace drive our beliefs that better times are ahead for our country.

Vivek Ramaswamy just called Medicare and Medicaid a mistake. 2.5 million Ohioans, including a million children, rely on Medicaid.

This is why we need new voices in Columbus to fight back against these attacks on healthcare. It is my goal to not only fight back against these attacks, but push for lower healthcare costs and expansion of Medicaid so all Ohioans are properly covered.

Ohio EPA reviewing data center discharge permits amid water quality concerns 01/09/2026

So this legislature already gave the greenlight for little restrictions on emissions and drilling on public lands. Now, they want to give the greenlight to allow new data centers to dump polluted cooling water into our state rivers and lakes?

This not only is a dangerous and disgusting attack on our environment, but puts our farm crops and everyday Ohioans at risk of drinking this pollution poison. Tell the Ohio EPA to reject this proposal and fight for a cleaner and safer Ohio.
