HEAL Palestine's Aid team received 1,000 tarpaulins alongside a UNICEF convoy in Gaza. Waterproof covers going directly to displaced families across the strip who have no roof over their heads.

Qamar, 8, lost her right leg when her home was bombed in Gaza. Through HEAL Palestine's Global Healing Program, she received treatment in New Jersey and is now continuing her recovery in Egypt. Here she is jumping in a ball pit and just being a kid.

Through HEAL Palestine's GTI Program, orphaned children in Gaza come together for group therapy sessions filled with games, activities, and laughter. These sessions help children build positive relationships, feel safe, and enjoy time with their peers, small but meaningful steps toward healing.

Baraa, 8, was born with a congenital leg deformity and underwent bilateral amputations at age five. Through HEAL Palestine's Global Healing Program, he is now at Pharaoh Clinic learning to walk on his prosthetics, one step at a time.

Shorouq has been fighting cancer since she was seven months old. She lost her right leg to cancer in 2019, and continued her life with a prosthetic limb and remarkable strength. When the war came to Gaza, it took her home, her prosthetic, and the embroidery work that had been her livelihood.

HEAL Palestine built a shelter for Shorouq and her family in Al-Mawasi and provided her with a wheelchair. We continue to support her as she fights cancer, repairs her home, and rebuilds her life, one day at a time.

Anas, 8, lost his father and suffered severe leg injuries in a bombing in Gaza. Through HEAL Palestine’s Global Healing Program, he traveled to the Bay Area to receive the medical treatment he needs.
