Mozart of Poetry
Today we celebrate 100 years since the birth of the "Mozart of poetry": Wisława Szymborska.
The Polish poet wrote around 400 poems during her lifetime, using common everyday images to reflect on larger truths about love, death and passing time.

Harnick, who died in New York on Friday of natural causes, was one-half of one of the top songwriting duos in Broadway history alongside composer Jerry Bock.
Playing on Broadway from 1964 to 1972, Fiddler on the Roof set a long-standing record and won 10 Tony Awards, which have often been credited to Harnick’s vast lyrical talent.
