Meet Oingo Boingo! ❤️

Oingo Boingo came into Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue all alone at just one day old. While bottle babies often steal our hearts, singleton kittens come with their own unique challenges.

Kittens learn important social skills from their littermates—how to play appropriately, how to read body language, and even how to use their energy without turning into tiny furry chaos goblins. When a kitten grows up alone, they can miss out on those lessons.

After completing quarantine and ensuring everyone is healthy, we try to pair singleton kittens with other kittens whenever possible. This helps them learn how to "cat" from other cats and gives them opportunities to wrestle, play, groom, and build confidence.

In this video, Oingo Boingo is spending time with Korvin, one of our older foster kittens. While introductions are always supervised, these interactions help singletons develop into well-adjusted, social cats.

Not every rescue has the luxury of a house full of kittens to choose from, which can make finding the perfect match a challenge. Thankfully, Oingo Boingo has plenty of foster friends willing to show him the ropes!

And judging by his attitude, we're pretty sure he thinks he runs the place already. 🖤🐾
