William had this procedure on June 26th of 2020 by the world renowned cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Joseph Dearani of the Mayo Clinic. William’s repair also included a right atrial plasty. William’s heart was extremely enlarged . A atrial plasty is a reduction in heart muscle that resolves the enlarged heart.
❤️💙 While William is an open heart surgery survivor , he will always have on going care with a cardiologist.
