Kennebunk Rotary Club

Jack Graham was named Rotarian of the month for his work on the scholarship committee. Louise Spang our speaker on May 14th, is a board member of Hope Cemetery. Her presentation gave us many facts and updates to the cemetery. Hope Woods is a certified Arboretum with over 45 species of trees. Created in the 1750s to service the greater Kennebunk area. Recently, they have built a new stone wall at the front entrance and fixed up many parts of the cemetery. The walking path is very well kept and a joy to walk. People are encouraged to come in and enjoy the property.

Joyce Schnaars is the museum educator for the Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk. Joyce has a multifaceted job with educating visitors, the local population and coordinating visiting schools.
