The housing market has changed a lot since the frenetic Covid times (2020 - 2022), and more homes are on the market, and more price reductions are happening. Unfortunately, for first time Buyers, the average home price is around $400k making it difficult to enter the market with interest rates hovering around 6.2% (that's if you have 20% down and great credit). Is it still a Sellers market? Or shifting to a Buyers market? Hard to say right now, and depends on the property and location.
