Vision Recovery
Last night at Vision Recovery, we began Step 7: The Power of Forgiveness with a message called Grace for What I Cannot Do.
Forgiveness is not pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s not acting like what happened didn’t matter. It’s honestly asking God for the grace to do in us what we cannot do on our own.
“God, I am powerless to forgive, but I am willing.”
Here’s the message if you couldn’t make it or want to watch it again.
REMINDER: Beginning next Friday, Vision Recovery will meet at a new location — The Guest Room, 208 W 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542. Same time, 7 PM.

Tonight we begin Step 7: The Power of Forgiveness.
Some things are too heavy to release without grace.
Tonight isn’t about pretending the hurt didn’t happen. It’s about bringing it honestly before God and asking Him for the grace to do what we can’t do on our own.
Join us tonight at 7 PM as we begin Grace to Let Go.

This Friday we begin Step 7: The Power of Forgiveness!
Forgiveness is one of those things that sounds simple until there’s a real wound attached to it.
Step 7 says, “We asked God for the grace to forgive those who have hurt us.”
I love that it starts with grace. Not pretending. Not forcing it. Not acting like what happened didn’t matter.
Just asking God for the grace to release what we can’t carry on our own.
Join us this Friday at 7 PM as we begin Grace to Let Go.

Motivation Monday
Forgiveness is not always easy, especially when the hurt was real. But God does not ask us to carry bitterness, anger, and pain forever.
Forgiveness does not mean what happened was okay. It means we are asking God for the grace to release what we were never meant to carry.
This week, let’s start with a simple prayer:
“God, help me let go.”

Motivation Monday
Christ lives in you.
The Cross didn't just change your eternity—it changes how you live today.
Whatever this week holds, you're not facing it alone. The same Jesus who gave His life for you now lives in you. His strength is greater than your weakness. His peace is greater than your anxiety. His grace is greater than your past.
So don't walk into this week relying only on your own ability. Walk in the confidence that Christ is at work within you.
You're not fighting for victory.
Because of the Cross, you're walking from it!
Have a great week!
Last night we wrapped up Step 6: The Power of the Cross with a powerful testimony from our special guest, Debra Dean.
One of the things I love most about testimony nights is that they remind us God is still at work. He is still faithful. He is still changing lives.
If you weren't able to join us, or if you'd like to hear Debra's story again, we've uploaded the message below.
We pray it encourages you and reminds you that no one is beyond God's grace and no story is beyond His ability to redeem.
We'll take a short break for the Independence Day holiday and then return as we begin Step 7: The Power of Forgiveness.
