KPD had a wonderful time serving our community during the fireworks celebration at Kenly 95 Truck Stop.

While everyone enjoyed an evening of celebration…our officers were proud to provide traffic control, promote public safety, and spend time talking and laughing with the many families and visitors who came out to enjoy the festivities.

One of the most rewarding parts of the evening was interacting with our young people. Every smile, handshake, and conversation helps build positive relationships and reminds our children that police officers are here to help, protect, and serve. Creating trust with the next generation is one of the most important investments we can make in our community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Kenly Fire Department and the entire Kenly 95 Truck Stop team for their outstanding partnership and assistance in helping make the evening safe and successful.
