Last night, driving home from dropping off a very special birthday shirt to a customer/friend I witnessed a road rage accident.

I was in the right lane and there was a car in the left just in front of me. She came speeding up beside me, laying on her horn and almost hit the car beside me. They tried to get out of her way but she was swerving trying to get around them. She finally floored it and went around him. In my head right before she lost control, I was thinking, she is going to cause a wreck and hurt someone or herself and a few seconds later I watched, as she hit the curb on a turn going about 70/80 on a 40mph road, and lost control. Her SUV went flying across the road, through the median and hit another car before it landed on the sidewalk on the other side of the road. The car she hit, spun out and ended on the side of the road as well. It was dark and I didn’t want to get out and risk getting hit myself so I pulled over and called 911. She got out of her car hands flying. She looked very irritated. She got back in and tried to, I’m assuming, leave but her car was not going anywhere. Another driver stopped and went to check on her. I stayed a little bit away so I couldn’t hear what was happening. I talked to dispatch and told me I could leave and that the police were on their way.

I just don’t understand why everyone seems to be in such a hurry these days and seems to have a lack of care for anyone else but themselves.

I don’t know what the outcome was but I prayed for everyone involved as I went to bed last night. And I’m just grateful I slowed down to keep a little distance.

Please slow down! Nothing is worth your life or taking someone else’s!!

We are on day 8 of fever, runny nose and cough with B. Granted he’ll be better for a 24/30 hr period and then we end up with a fever again. We are supposed to fly out for a comp on Thursday and I need him better!

Tested neg for all the things on Friday, I did call the doc again and have to call back in the morning.

What home remedies do you use when your kiddos are sick?!? I’m up for anything at this point!

This week, 2 out of 5 of us caught whatever it is going around. I don’t think I’ve been hit this hard in a long time. At least I’ve had a snuggle buddy. Thankful for Shawn, for doing all the things this week and spending the day today at the meets! Praying no one else gets sick before we leave for AZ next week to compete.

I also haven’t missed a gymnastics meet in the 6 years she’s been competing so I’m really upset about not going today. Grateful for the moms who offered to step up and do hair this weekend. Juli, you are amazing!

Hopefully I can manage to get a little work done today since I am now very behind.
