Kroger Distribution Center - Keller TX
Position Summary: Use power lift equipment to assist in the efficient flow of merchandise in and out of the distribution center. This includes receiving product into the warehouse, filling store orders in an accurate and safe manner while operating industrial equipment, loading outbound product onto trailers while monitoring and ensuring product accuracy and quality. Essential Job Functions:
- Work as a team member to assist in all distribution center (DC) functionality
- Operate industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Verify and keep records on incoming shipments and route to processing areas
- Select orders according to preferred methods
- Follow voice commands and/or read order to ascertain correct case number and quantity of merchandise is selected
- Obtain merchandise from bins/shelves/pick slots
- Build pallets and sort merchandise
- Wrap completed store orders and submit to shipping
- Load shipments onto trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Complete outbound product paperwork
- Use power lift equipment to move incoming merchandise from the receiving area to the proper location in the warehouse
- Separate and move pallets as needed
- Replenish order selection locations
- Maintain ability to work weekends, nights, overtime and holidays on a regular basis

Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Must be at least age 18
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, as well as write short correspondence and memos
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work in ambient or refrigerated environment for long periods of time
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to work through problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be accurate and detailed oriented

- Ability to operate or ability to learn to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: hand truck, hand and power pallet jack, power lift equipment (Company will train)

- High school education or general education degree (GED)
- Six months distribution center experience
- Six months order filler experience

Position Summary: Responsible for general maintenance in maintaining distribution center’s buildings and equipment. Activities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC (excluding Freon work), carpentry, painting, dock door and leveler maintenance. Essential Job Functions:
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and dock doors and levelers
- Repair minor electrical, HVAC, plumbing and dock doors and levelers
- Assist / monitor equipment process parameters to perform predictive / preventive maintenance and enter data into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Assist in monitoring inventory of spare parts, special need items and tools
- Ability to operate computers and maintenance diagnostics equipment including analog and digital multi-meters, pyrometers, photo-tachometer, etc.
- Diagnose failures, determine parts and material requirements, and perform repairs as required to resume Operation on production equipment
- Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles
- Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility
- Perform basic carpentry duties as needed
- Assists in relocating and remodeling offices, conference rooms and break areas
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with our without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, welding, mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and manuals
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools
- Valid driver’s license

- Training in facility maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanics

Researches, resolves stock discrepancies and addresses inventory inquiries from RASC. Verifies product location in aisles, assist in cycle counts and inventory audits.
