Cummings Elementary School

Kindergarten Jumpstart this past week at Cummings was a huge success and fun was had by staff and students alike! The teachers planned a week of learning with an ocean theme and students read books each day that featured various ocean creatures and did art projects that accompanied the sea animal they read about. They also learned some of our basic school expectations including how to eat breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria, how to walk in the halls, and the rules of recess. They got started on learning a few numbers and how to write them in various ways as well. We can’t wait to see our youngest learners again in a few weeks!
