Goodbye our Editor and Chief Samantha Thomas

The 245-day streak of posting a student-written story every day on the Piper Daily website has been broken.

Because of Chromebook turn-in, and all of the Piper Staffs finals closely approaching, the streak has ended.

Our Editor and Chief Samantha Thomas, is stepping down from the role and graduating this year. She has written many great stories for this publication and she will be missed greatly.

“I’m very happy because for the last 245 days my editors and I have poured blood sweat and tears into maintaining our streak, even if nobody notices. There have been times when Reesa and I have been awake until 2 am trying to get stories ready for upcoming school breaks.,” said Thomas.
