Georgia Caroline Jurgens
June 29, 1933 - April 28, 2026
Georgia Caroline Jurgens, age 92, formerly of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026.
Georgia was born on June 29, 1933, to Dan and Clara Stach in Odessa, Washington, and spent her childhood in Deer Park, Washington. She graduated from Deer Park High School in 1951 and worked for Deer Park Pine.
On August 31, 1956, Georgia married the love of her life, Walter Dean Jurgens. They lived in Spokane until moving to Lewiston, Idaho in 1961. Together they built a beautiful life and shared 67 years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and family before Dean preceded her in death on September 2, 2023. The couple spent most of their years together in Lewiston, Idaho, where they made countless memories, before relocating to Keizer, Oregon in 2020.
Georgia was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who poured her heart into everything she did. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and cooking, and many of her happiest moments were found creating things for those she loved. Georgia also generously volunteered at Congregational Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, Idaho, where she faithfully served her community. She and Dean loved to travel and had a fifth wheel and later a motor home.
Georgia will be remembered for her caring spirit, quiet strength, and deep love for her family. The love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Walter Dean Jurgens; brothers Bud and Mike; and sisters Laverna and Pauline.
She is survived by her daughters: Tami Dohrman of Keizer, Oregon; Darleen Keegan of Upland, California; and Teresa Jurgens of Tucson, Arizona.
She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Carl Dohrman, Shaina Dohrman, Sydney Rowe (Evan) and Douglas Keegan.
Georgia's family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with Dean, the love of her life, after a lifetime of love and devotion.
