We’re proud to share that the Keizer Heritage Museum Manager Robert Becker has been invited to serve on the Programming Committee for the 2026 Oral History Association Conference, “Landscapes of Memory,” taking place this fall in Portland.

Through this work, we’ll help shape how stories are preserved, interpreted, and shared nationwide while serving as a voice for the Keizer Cultural Center and strengthening our efforts here at home.

Our banner celebrating Native American Heritage Month honoring our neighbors who are of Native American descent. The banner will be up the entire month of November.

Additionally, the Keizer Community Center has Native American art in the east gallery and the Chemawa Indian School student murals in the North gallery in honor of Native American Heritage Month.
