Saint Gertrude.
Original painting is off to her new home. Thanks to Walpole Artisans Cooperative.
(January 6, 1256 – November 17, 1302) was a German Benedictine nun and mystic who was a member of the Monastery of Helfta. While herself a Benedictine, she had strong ties to the Cistercian Order; her monastery in Helfta is currently run by nuns of the Cistercian Order.
She is the Patron Saint of Cats.

Col. Cornelius Cornstalk.
My corn is almost ready for picking.
A Colonel in the war he is famous for his battle cry,
"Pop em if you got em boys!"
During the war he had a sideline income of his "squeezins"
which he sold to both sides, probably where his reputation
as a double agent started.
He gained much success and when he retired returning
to his plantation where he died at the age of 101. His descendants
still own and operate his distillery today.
