KSC Upward Bound Programs

Today was our Upward Bound Senior Trip! First, we stopped at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA)! Students toured campus, learned about various programs, and played college life bingo during lunch! Did you know that 40% of students at MCLA are first-gen? Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts

After lunch, students were able to explore MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art), the largest contemporary art museum in the U.S! We had a blast! Thank you all for a great week - see you on Sunday!

Week 2 of Senior Bootcamp has been a blast so far! Upward Bound students are writing their college essays, experiencing new things, developing leadership skills, and having so much fun!

Tomorrow we are off to MCLA & MASS MoCA for our Senior Trip!

Last week, KSC Upward Bound rising senior students participated in their first academic classes, Senior Seminar, groups, clubs, & wellness activities despite the heat! 🔥

We are so excited to have students back on campus for week 2! Tonight’s Sunday Activities are friendship bracelet making, Just Dance, and karaoke! 🎶 🎤

Today we had our final on-campus workshop of the 2025-26 Academic Year! Keene State College Upward Bound Students started the day with a fun warm up activity, trying their best to recreate famous art pieces!

Then, students learned about Financial Literacy! They discussed the difference between a checking & savings account, saw how to write a check, and even played an interactive game where students had a limited amount of “money” to spend. They had to think about their needs and prioritize spending!

After lunch students participated in community service, writing encouraging notes to the KSC Aspire students who will be taking finals next week!

Flashback Friday! Last week, Keene State College Upward Bound Students toured Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH to explore the range of careers available in a hospital setting. Students took a tour of the facility & labs, participated in hands on demonstrations, and spoke to staff about their educational journey!
