Harry Bertoia: Echoes in Space

Harry Bertoia, an Italian immigrant and one of the pioneers of postwar American Modernism, transformed metal into living forms of light, movement, and sound. Echoes in Space traces three decades of his sculptural explorations, revealing an artist deeply inspired by nature; dandelions, willows, trees and the quiet rhythms they embody.

What fascinated me is the exploration of patterns in nature along with the sound. Experiencing these remarkable sound sculptures activated in the gallery was truly a memorable and inspiring moment.
