That’s a wrap on Day Two of the Texas FFA State Convention!

Today, we were incredibly proud to have two of our own recognized on stage among the very best in Texas.

Mrs. Crystal Lang, one of our outstanding KHS counselors, was honored as the Area III Star Counselor! This is exceptionally special because she was a Katy FFA member herself! Mrs. Lang has a true passion for agricultural education and is a constant advocate for Katy FFA. From helping students find their place in our program to always supporting our chapter however she can, she consistently goes above and beyond for our students. We are so fortunate to have the unwavering support of the entire KHS Counselor Team, and we are especially grateful for everything you do, Mrs. Lang. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

In addition, Dr. Hull was named the Area III Star Administrator! Great programs aren’t built overnight, and they certainly aren’t built alone. Dr. Hull has been a constant source of encouragement and support for our chapter, FFA members, and especially our teachers. His genuine care for students, passion for education, and servant-hearted leadership have made a lasting impact on our program and the countless lives we have the privilege of serving. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an exceptional leader guiding our school and supporting Katy FFA every step of the way.

Thank you, “Boss Hog,” Dr. Hull, for always being one of Katy FFA’s biggest supporters! Congratulations to both of you on these outstanding and well-deserved honors. We are proud to celebrate you! ♥️🏆🐅

We have safely arrived at the Texas FFA State Convention! Day 1 included exploring the convention hall, celebrating our members who earned their Lonestar FFA Degree, and attending the Aaron Watson concert!

The Lonestar FFA Degree is the highest state degree that can be earned by a FFA member in Texas! This group has put in countless hours in the classroom, through community service, and with their SAE projects. Congratulations to this hardworking set of kids for representing Katy FFA so well!
