Firefly

To all our Firefly friends and family, past and present.

We opened our doors in 2008 as the first craft cocktail bar in Kansas City. We have had great bands perform during Kegs & Eggs. We have had great DJ's spin for nights of dancing and fun. We have had many talented people whom have worked for us over these years. We have had GREAT customers!

Over the last 17 years Firefly has morphed through many changes giving our patrons a place to make their own. Hell, we made it through a pandemic! We would not have been able to do that without you all and we want to give thanks to everyone for the support and patronage they have bestowed on us.

Just as Westport and Kansas City has grown and changed. “The powers that be” have won and made it very clear to us… that for Firefly, that time is now, it is time for Firefly to change as well.

We will be closing as of today with the hopes of bringing you the next chapter in Firefly. We do not know what or when that will be as of yet, but stay tuned to see what we may become.
