"If you're NOT out of your comfort zone, you are declining." That sentence recently made me pause. It felt like a gut punch, especially since I've been on a quest for peace and balance after experiencing a few burnouts. 🧘

Moving from the fast-paced life of Singapore to the tranquil beaches of Hawaii was an intentional step back to recalibrate. I embraced the change, seeking more of that 'zen life'—less hustle, more flow. Sounds good, right? But slowing down can be a double-edged sword.

🤔 Did I start to play small?

I caught myself saying, "I'm new here. I need time to adjust. I don't know anyone so I can't grow my business." It's so easy to mistake 'adjustment' for 'stagnation,' especially when you're navigating new terrains, be it geographical or emotional. But here's the truth—I didn't move halfway across the world to simply lounge on the beach.

I still have fire in my belly 🔥. A passion for community, social engagements, true camaraderie, and making a meaningful impact. These are non-negotiables for me; they're inked into my value system.

So, how did I pull myself out of this comfort zone, without skyrocketing my cortisol levels? No 'rah-rah, go big or go home'—just genuine, honest, vulnerable enriching experiences.

🥎 First up, Military Spouse Kickball League. Yes, you heard right. Me + ball sports = not a match made in heaven. But guess what? I had a blast, met some incredible people, and learned a thing or two about teamwork.

🛶 Next, Hawaiian outrigger paddling. Paddling in the Kaneohe Bay against the backdrop of the stunning Koolau mountains has been soul-nourishing. And the best part? We get to give back to the Habilitat community.

Life is richer, fuller when you're actively participating, not just observing. So, here's my question for you:
