National DOG DAD DAY is an unofficial holiday celebrated every year on the day before Father's Day.

While there are some slight variations (some calendars list it on the second Saturday of June), it is primarily celebrated on the Saturday of Father's Day weekend.

The day is all about celebrating the bond between guys and their furry companions. Dog dads often celebrate by taking their dogs on walks or hikes, buying them special treats or toys, or getting a little "paw-ther's" day recognition.
