Sugar was the little pup I had wanted to rescue from the Bainbridge, GA Humane Society but just didn’t have room for her in my van. A month later, my good friend and Rescue Wagon copilot, Ela, went back on her own and rescued Sugar from the shelter! Ela fostered Sugar for several weeks, but then an adopter finally came along!

Sugar is now ‘Scout.’ She has a very loving family who absolutely adore her! Scout is a true testament to the notion that ANYONE can help save a life. It doesn’t have to be a rescue who does this, YOU can do it too!
