Inside Scoop: Kiddos at DDC are exploring all things garden and bugs! 🧑‍🌾☀️🍅🐛

Our Chipmunk class is captivated by worms and Rollie pollies, identifying different bugs they find in our yards. 🪱

The Otter class has been playing deep in the garden! Helping plant, water, and soon PICK all the fruits and veggies we plan to grow this season. 🌱🥬

The Ravens got the chance to bring some worms indoors, creating a worm farm for their classroom and showing interest for insect anatomy🧐🐜

We had an incredible time celebrating the Week of the Young Child! Our classrooms were buzzing with creativity, community, and a whole lot of fun. Here is a look back at our week:

🎵 Music Monday: The Chipmunk class explored new instruments while our Otters and Ravens led a festive music parade during center time!
😋 Tasty Tuesday: We expanded our palates with a special tasting party for our morning snack.
💪 Work Together Wednesday: A huge shoutout to our amazing families who helped us spruce up our school and yards for the summer!
🎨 Artsy Thursday: From collages to painting pinecones outside and spin painting with Ms. Cloe, it was a masterpiece of a morning.
❤️ Family Friday: We loved hosting our parents for a delicious muffin breakfast to wrap up the week.
