Good Wednesday morning. I’m a little late posting this morning as I was catching up on my production for the week and bringing back some old favourites. We have our raspberry scones available along with so many delicious options. Our chocolate marzipans scones will also be in the case. We are kicking off our celebration of Bastille Day on Friday with even more French delights The Queen of Tarts may even make an appearance! We lucked out at Kalamazoo Farmers Market on Tuesday so you will see the benefits tomorrow.

Good morning on this balmy hot Thursday, I’m so thankful for the light breeze this morning and the dawn chorus that greeted me as I left for work. I spent far too much time outside yesterday trying to mulch our bakery raspberries and herbs, I turned on our gentle spray hose and it looked a plague of frogs within a few minutes. All these tiny garden and tree frogs had a water party and hopefully ate lots of mosquitos. Pictures below are our Danish, we also have a lot of specials available at the bakery and we will be open on July 4th as well as being at Kalamazoo Farmers Market I’m celebrating our resilient local food system every week and enjoying the wonderful seasonal items that are available.
