After 52 years in business, I have decided to call it quits. I am retiring and selling the assets of my shop The Timid Rabbit Magic & Masquerade Shop and The Halloween Shop in Kalamazoo Michigan.

I started my business in Ga***rd Michigan in 1973. Then I opened a second location in Petoskey and in 1979 I opened in Kalamazoo. In those 52 years I have also had locations in Portage, and Miami. We truly appreciate your support and friendship.

It has been an amazing trip.

The day after the MAES Convention I made another notch on my bucket list item of visiting the oldest bar in every state in the U.S.A and having a local beer there. Before going to the bar we had breakfast at the Radcliff Cafe in Bristol Pennsylvania. It is a great small town café. One which I recommend to all going to or through Bristol.

Unfortunately, the oldest bar in Pennsylvania. The Broad Axe Tavern, just permanently closed. The second oldest bar, The King George II, is now officially the oldest bar. In fact, it now holds the distinction of being America's oldest continuously operating inn. It was a great stop. Great atmosphere, service, food, and drink.
