I LOVE this. Intelligence is so much more than knowing everything. No one is born knowing everything (although some peeps MAY think they do...). We are born to absorb, to learn, to question, and to not feel degraded when we do NOT know something. I think that the term "Stupid Question" should be put in the denormalized category because if you do not know something, then no question is a stupid question. It is a simple sign that you are curious. Kiddos show this every day. They constantly ask questions, and it is such a healthy habit, I always want to know when it tends to get smooshed. What are YOUR thoughts? When does curiousity get smooshed? And WHY??
