Summer break looks a little different from our perspective.🔧🏫

While students are enjoying their time off, our crews are hard at work tackling the infrastructure that keeps Hartford Public Schools - HPS running.

This summer's improvements include:
• New boilers at both the middle and high schools
• New hydronic piping and domestic water piping
• New operational storefront windows
• New casework in some classrooms
• Fresh paint in select areas
• A complete transformation of the Home Economics classroom

Much of this work isn't flashy—but it's the kind of investment that makes classrooms more comfortable, buildings more reliable, and schools better prepared to serve students and staff for years to come.

As year two of a three-year improvement program, our team has just eight weeks to complete this work before the halls fill with students again. It's a fast-paced schedule that takes careful planning, coordination, and a lot of teamwork. Shout out to A1 Refrigeration, Inc. - Mechanical Contractor, Double O, Martell Electric, LLC, and Bracy & Jahr, Inc. on site this week.
