For most of America, Memorial Day is a day that signals summer is coming… school ending, grills firing up, and sunny beach days ahead. This past week and weekend, I coached someone through their first 3-day water fast and taught a Sattva Meditation Course, initiating some beautiful beings into an ancient lineage.
It’s easy to get swept up in all the new wellness trends, but at the end of the day, I always find myself returning to ancient wisdom for modern living.
Our hunter-gatherer ancestors couldn’t just dial up Uber Eats. Sometimes they went days without food. They didn’t call it fasting — they called it life.
Yogis living in the Himalayas didn’t need apps or guided meditations backed by research studies. They understood the power of breath, mantra, and stillness — how these practices could calm the nervous system, focus the mind, and help transcend the ego.
When people begin to dive deeper into the practices and teachings I share, they soon realize it’s not about fixing anything. It’s about remembering who you truly are and reconnecting to your infinite potential.
But to do that, you have to make time for YOU.
