February 21, 2026 will mark the 20th anniversary of the publication of my first novel, Chronicles of the Imagination: Staranana. I still remember all that involved - hiring a literary agent, searching for a publisher, and ultimately starting Thrive Christian Press myself. In honor of the anniversary I will be releasing a new edition of the book next month on Staranana’s birthday. The plan is for the new edition to include an updated version of the story, a behind the scenes look at the origin of the characters and world, and a gospel conversation prompt for each chapter to connect with the overall Christian themes of the book. I still have a bit of work to do in the next month, but I am excited to reintroduce the world to Staranana!
