Overview - Production Equipment Operator

This person works as part of the production team at one of the four main stations of packaging process of craft drinks. The assigned station will change to match the production schedule.

Operating packaging equipment safely and efficiently, including setup, cleaning and basic maintenance
Loading and unloading vans with forklifts and pallet jacks
Logging and maintaining records
Cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facility
Verifying quality of final packaging products
Operating automated process systems
Following safety, quality, and operating procedures
Skills and abilities - Production Equipment Operator

On the job training for heavy equipment operation, hazardous materials handling, and general safety practices in food and manufacturing
Ability to perform time-sensitive, fast-paced, physically demanding activity
Ability to stack 40 lbs. cases.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist individual with daily living and care skills such as self-care, meal preparation, transportation, etc.
Assist individual on accessing a variety of activities such as going out to eat, the movies, shopping, etc.
Works with individual and family in a compassionate and understanding manner
Maintain positive and effective communication with all other staff members
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED/equivalent; Minimum age - 18 yrs.
Ability to preform multiple Lift and transfers- 50+ lbs
Ability to pass State of Alaska Background Check
Valid vehicle operator's license and a clean driving record
Current vehicle insurance meeting the state minimum requirement
Physical ability to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Working availability including evenings, and weekends.
