Last Chance Mining Museum

Hello friends and followers! YES, we are open on Labor Day, on our usual Monday schedule, 2-5 pm. Remember, it's $5 per person, CASH ONLY. Our last day of the season will be Sunday, Sept. 14. Google tells us that were amongst the Top Ten places to visit in Juneau! Probably because we are authentic, interesting, and super affordable. So, stop by any time, Thursdays through Mondays, from 2-5. Park at the end of Basin Road, follow the path on the right and you'll see the footbridge crossing Gold Creek. Then make the short climb up the hill to discover the very last authentic building left from Juneau's amazing 65-year history as the world's epicenter of hard rock gold mining.
