We are thrilled to share that the generous donations received during our Auxiliary Bake Sale/Craft Fair last December have made a significant impact for GCFD. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to purchase first aid kits to equip all County fire trucks.
These kits will ensure that our brave volunteer firefighters have the necessary tools to provide immediate medical assistance when needed, enhancing safety for our responders.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported the auxiliary.

Yesterday, firefighters from Geary County Rural Fire Department and multiple agencies providing mutual aid battled a large fire in southern Geary County. During the blaze, members of the Geary County Rural Fire Department Auxiliary went to work preparing and delivering sandwiches, snacks and drinks to those individuals working the fire.
Auxiliary members meet monthly to plan and organize fundraisers and events throughout the year. The Auxiliary mission is “To provide support to Geary County Rural Firefighters and their families”.
Support from the community through fundraising efforts and otherwise, is how we are able to accomplish this mission and will continue to do so.
