Here’s a little tech tip for all my Ford fans. Many owners ask about upgrading their ignition systems. Personal, for most all applications a properly maintained points system is rock solid and reliable. If an electronic ignition system is something you are looking into we have had success mixing and matching a few components. For the distributor we use a Ford Duraspark unit which has the magnetic pickup need to replace the points. In the past owners would wire the Duraspark box into the car. These box have a poor reputation when it comes to reliability and they visually were not attractive. Instead of the Duraspark box we wire a Chevy HEI module in to fire the ignition. Benefits of the HEI are size and availability. They are easily hidden if one chooses and are commonly bought at every parts store. Their size has a secondary benefit that a spare can easily be carried in your glove box. The Duraspark distributor can be bought for most all your common engines. You can use the small vintage cap or the large later model cap.

This car is the definition of a 1975 time capsule. Just a hand full of miles were driven in the early 70s. This car has been very well preserved. We did a full service and maintenance on this hemi Cuda after a 20 plus years of hiding.

This hemi road runner may potentially be the best low mileage survivor car on the planet. It’s been under the care of its original owner for its entire existence. It has beautiful original interior ( two build sheets have been located and are still in there untouched locations), an unbelievable rust free original body and chassis still wearing it original black paint and tires. After more than 20 years resting in a garage we carefully brought it back to life. After rebuilding the correct and original carburetors and a fresh oil change and proper pressurizing of the engine oil the VIN number correct Hemi roared to life. This is a car that will stand out in any collection.

Here is another rare car just fresh out of the shop. 1969 TA ram air IV four speed.. This car underwent a very detailed restoration while we preserved the perfect original interior. This may be the only remaining 69 RA IV with its VIN number matching engine and transmission.
