Nobody remembers what any of them mean.

You haven’t seen your toothbrush since 9:30.

Your coffee maker is in witness protection.

Somebody packed the TV remote with the baking dishes.

The scissors have entered another dimension.

You’ve walked 18,000 steps… inside the same house.

And at some point, everyone collectively agrees that “we’ll figure it out later” is a perfectly acceptable organizational strategy.

By the end of the day you’re eating pizza on the floor, charging your phone from an extension cord running through three rooms, and wondering why you own 47 coffee mugs but only two forks.

Everybody’s talking about Toy Story 5 today.

And it got me thinking.

The plot revolves around toys wondering what happens when kids become more interested in technology than the toys that have always been there for them.

That’s not really a toy story.

That’s every industry right now.

Including mine.

Every week somebody asks me if AI is going to replace Realtors.

The truth? AI is incredible.

It can find homes.
It can estimate values.
It can calculate payments.
It can summarize contracts.
It can answer questions faster than any human ever could.

But buying a home was never an information problem.

It’s a people problem.

People get emotional.
Sellers get offended.
Buyers get nervous.
Inspections uncover surprises.
Appraisals come in low.
Lenders need documentation.
Negotiations stall.
And somebody has to figure out what to do next.

That’s the part AI still struggles with.
Because information and judgment are not the same thing.

The internet has information.
A Realtor has judgment.

So no, I don’t think AI is replacing Realtors.
I think it’s making good Realtors more valuable.

The apps can do their best.
I’ll still be over here helping people get home.
