Client Spotlight: Monument Butler
When Dale Robertson wanted to expand his monument cleaning business, Monument Butler, he was referred to the ASBTDC by his Rehabilitation Services counselor.

The A-State ASBTDC assisted him with the development of a business plan and provided marketing information. Mr. Robertson also secured a lawn mower through Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, allowing him to expand into mowing services for cemeteries and memorial parks.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Ugly Mugs
Congratulations to Brittany and Jonny Whitener on the opening of Ugly Mugs in Concord! The Whiteners were referred to the ASBTDC by Landon Downing of Citizens Bank, Batesville.

The A-State Center had the opportunity to work with them throughout the start-up process by providing market research and assisting with the development of their business plan.

Ugly Mugs is truly a family affair, with support from Brittany’s mother and other family members helping bring the business to life. If you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up drink or delicious made-from-scratch goodies, stop by and support Brittany and her family!

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: The Good Shepard RV Park

The Good Shepard RV Park is bringing new long-term lodging options to the Blytheville and Osceola area! Designed for steel mill workers, contractors, and traveling professionals, the park offers 31 full hookup RV sites with slag pads, wide roads, security lighting, and convenient access to major employers like Big River Steel and Nucor Steel.
With support from the ASBTDC at Arkansas State University, the owners received market research, startup guidance, and funding information to help bring their vision to life.
