- Homes wired in aluminum wiring are particularly dangerous as Aluminum expands and contracts more than copper . Creating loose connections at your devices.

How can you prevent it from happening in your home?

- Updating your outlets and switches by a qualified electrician
- Replacing panel or breakers with Arc Fault/ Ground Fault breakers for added security.
- Rewiring your house
