Dover Harbor

Our free 2026 DCNRHS Dover Harbor calendar is now available for you to download from the DCNRHS (www.dcnrhs.org) and Dover Harbor (www.doverharbor.com) web sites. This year’s calendar shows our classic Pullman car, Dover Harbor at the St. Johnsbury train station while taking part of the AAPRCO Autumn Explorer VI special train touring Vermont. The calendar photograph was taken by Dean Edmonds in October, 2025. DCNRHS wishes you all the best in 2026!

Dover Harbor rests in Albany-Rennselaer along with other private rail cars after the conclusion of the AAPRCO Autumn Explorer. The day started with a hearty blueberry pancake breakfast with Vermont maple syrup in honor of Vermont Day. Our train shared yard space with two other passenger trains overnight- Amtrak's Ethan Allen and the VRS Champlain Valley Dinner Train. Then there was more scenery on the final day's journey. Thanks to AAPRCO for a wonderful and enjoyable trip! Dover Harbor heads South to New York tomorrow (Monday, Oct.13) with the Lake Shore Ltd., then on to Washington with the Silver Meteor on Tuesday.
