🎥 📃 Many companies won't offer unedited footage as it lets the couple see "behind the veil".
Footage straight out of the camera isn't as pretty, it's flat and ungraded. You can see my footsteps in moving shots before I stabilize it in post. You see the shots where we didn't have time to set the color balance in camera and they're way more yellow than they should be. You see the jerky camera movements as someone adjusts a tripod or the shake from the shots we hand-held.

BUT! You also hear all the random in-between moments, me and the photographer hyping you up, or joking about how awkward it is to smile and laugh while we're taking portraits. You get those random shots of me searching throughout the dancing, looking for smiling faces and funny moves, 90% of which never make it into the final film. You get all the random chatting in between your first look and private vows, snippets of random conversations while you were getting ready in the morning, and the ability to watch each camera angle of your ceremony straight through if you really wanted.

Not everyone needs all this footage. But, it is YOUR wedding, and if you want access to all those little pieces, I don't mind you seeing "how the sausage gets made". Plus, this sale is a great way to support your friendly local artist while work is slow in the off season here. 🤭

Our long anticipated website update is finally here!! 🎉❤

Like most small businesses, I'm a one-woman show when it comes to the back end of Love Stories. Everything from emails, advertising, finances, editing, and yes, designing, formatting and updating the website, is included in my job title haha. 😂

It can be hard to sit down and update the website with our newest films and past projects when you're in the middle of aforementioned projects, but we made it! 🙌

I'm very proud of this refresh and I'd love to hear your thoughts. (Especially if you find anything that I need to fix. I triple checked everything, but it's easy to miss things when you're too close to a project!)
