Nosework Handler Rewards

In Helen, GA, for the weekend! I know that there aren’t a lot of dog trials in the area, but there are so many dog friendly paces in the area, I thought I’d add a few here as well.

If you like German food, try Hofbrauhaus, or Bodensee! They are both amazing!!

Here’s the review I left on Trip Advisor got Paul’s steakhouse in Helen.

“I’d give this place a 0 rating if I could. The only bright spot was our server, Jack - he went over and above trying to save our dinner. We had a party of 8 on Oktoberfest weekend, and we were seated with almost no wait, which should have been our first sign. They were sold out of prime rib, which fortunately none of us were planning to order. My fiancée and I got beef tips and grilled shrimp. Neither had any seasoning of any kind. We both got a baked potato, which is hard to screw up, and she got green beans - also no seasoning. I got a salad which came out about 10 minutes after my dinner. Our group also got steaks - needed large amounts of A1 to be edible - country fried steak, and lobster tails. We also got the clam chowder, which my corned said was not as good as Campbells out of a can and fishy. Someone else in the group got an old fashioned and needed to give directions multiple times to make it drinkable. Jack saw the problem and had the bar tender come
to the table. My fiancée spent $95 on a meal that was barely edible and certainly NOT GOOD.

There are too many amazing options in Helen to waste money on this place.”

Hi everyone! Some wonderful Nosework peeps had a great idea. Why not put up a place to share of our favorite restaurants and attractions to visit close to trials and workshops.
