The students did an amazing job showing all the JA teachers their appreciation this week!

Mr. Laird took on a special assignment for us the week prior having the kids secretly fill out an ‘all about my teacher’ sheet. We decorated the halls for a fun surprise Monday morning. Some of the kids’ responses were spot on and hilarious! We couldn’t leave out our specials, SPED, support, and office staff either so we let them know that they were ‘Mint To Be at JA’ with a little goodie bag in their boxes.

Tuesday the sunshine cart made its rounds with a dirty lemonade bar.

Wednesday we delivered all the school supplies the kids brought in.

Thursday the flower bar was open! (Our favorite) and the kids brought in some of their teacher’s favorite sweet treats.

We finished off the week with a lunch from The Catered Kitchen.

We hope that all our amazing JA teachers felt loved and that their cups have been topped off moving into the end of the year!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at JCS. While we are grateful all year long, it’s a special opportunity to highlight what we already know and what our families see in action: our teachers are outstanding. They set the standard, raise expectations and consistently deliver excellence for students across all four schools.

We are truly proud of the educators who make up our system and the impact they have every day.

Thank you to our teachers for the skill, care and commitment you bring to your work. Our students are better because of you, and our community is stronger because of the standard you set.
