Please Donate to help Bohdi and Lilly!!

When we commit to a dog we commit, no matter what medical issues may arise.

Sometimes that means things happen at the same time and we have to rely on our community to help!!

Now is that time, we need to raise $2,200 to cover the medical costs of Lily and Bohdi.

Please help us close this fundraiser by Sunday!

Donations can be made on our website at www.barkvilledogrescue.org

We are so happy to share that our sweet Anna is out of boarding and has started her heartworm treatment!!

This whole situation for Anna seems very unnecessary and even cruel to us-you see, she was adopted several years back to someone that we thought would provide a loving and caring home- but that wasn’t so. She was returned to BarkVille a few months back via a Good Samaritan finding her stray in bad condition and as it turned out heartworm positive. For two years in her adoptive home she didn’t receive heartworm prevention or annual vaccines-in fact, she had not been one time to the vet in those two years. So, now Anna is having to needlessly go thru painful and expensive heartworm treatment- all caused by an irresponsible human.

Thankfully things are looking much better for Anna these days thanks to one our amazing foster families-they are giving Anna her third chance at a happy, healthy life that this girl so deserves.

One week out of boarding and the best news is that she has an adoption meet and greet this week!!! It may or may not work out, but either way things are moving in much more positive direction for this sweet pup!!

We love you Anna and we are so sorry we let you down -we try our best to prevent these things but unfortunately we can’t control everything. We have learned from this experience and we will fight harder moving forward to stop things like this from happening again.
