Community Kitchen

We had an awesome day Saturday December 16th closing out year 13 at The Community Kitchen.

I want to thank ALL the volunteers that have been a part of making this ministry to our community a success. All come from different denominational backgrounds, different businesses, even college, high school, and retirement.
It takes a village.

I do want to give special thanks to a few that recently donated and helped us get through the last couple of months:

Mueller donating their extra employee Christmas boxes of ham and other meats; Jerry Hamilton deer processing from Powell's Crossroads donated ground venison; Louise Reddenaur donated 70 hams; unknown who donated 31 turkeys and to Pastor Jeremy from New beginnings Church and his team that smoked all the turkeys for our Christmas hot meal; also NB church donated hot dogs; JayWendy Murphy for the purchase of items for our meals that have to come out-of-pocket for us, items we cannot get from the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.

Special thanks to Jasper Seventh Day Adventist church for their Helping Hands ministry who faithfully come every month at the end of our weekend to clean up!!

Thanks to everyone that donates their grocery bags that we bag produce in, clothing and other items to the outreach.

AND to all donating to the fund for a new walk-in freezer. This is a HUGE need. I have been turning down frozen fruit, vegetables, and various meats because we have not had storage.
