I’m Brittany Haynes, and I’m running for the Cleveland City School Board in District 2. As a former educator who taught second grade and kindergarten, I understand the challenges and opportunities our schools face. I’m also a proud mom of a son attending Cleveland High School and an active member of North Cleveland Church of God.

I am a conservative Republican, and my campaign is built on the following important beliefs:

- Student and Staff Safety: Prioritizing a safe learning environment for everyone.
- Resource Allocation for Teachers: Equipping educators with the necessary tools to succeed in the classroom.
- Trauma-Informed Training: Providing teachers with training to help them understand and support students facing emotional and psychological challenges.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Committing to smart and efficient budgeting that ensures taxpayer dollars are used effectively.
- Focus on Academic Excellence: Emphasizing foundational education to improve test scores and overall student achievement while steering clear of divisive political agendas.

These aspects are at the heart of my campaign, and I believe they are essential for the success of our students and schools. I also care about what is important to you and would love to hear what you feel our school system can do to continue thriving.
