When I started YPMD, I was on my way out of medicine. I was burned out from all the bureaucracy from insurance and corporate hoops. I spent more time with charts than patients. My husband and I even started a small lavender farm hoping if I toughed it out 2 more years, I could quit and start selling lavender products.
But God intervened and showed me a new way to practice medicine, and I started YPMD back when Jarrell was on the cusp of significant growth.
It has been successful both personally and professionally, and I am so thankful to the community for embracing a new concept in medicine where patients and doctors determine what is best for their health.
