Our JRMS Cheerleaders had an amazing time at today’s cheer clinic with the high school cheerleaders! They spent the day learning new skills, building confidence, and sharing lots of smiles and school spirit.

A huge thank you to our high school cheerleaders for investing in our students and helping make today so special. We can’t wait to see all the energy, enthusiasm, and Cougar pride our cheerleaders bring this year. It’s going to be a GREAT year at JRMS! 📣🐾💙

The Jarrell Independent School District is proud to announce that the Education Service Center Region 13 Honor Board Selection Committee has named the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees the 2026 Regional Outstanding School Board. This prestigious recognition highlights the board's commitment to academic success, students, staff, and the Jarrell community.

School Board President Jenny Arnold said it's a privilege to serve alongside a dedicated team of trustees.

"I'm proud to serve with a board that is united in its commitment to student success," Arnold said. "Every decision we make is centered on providing students and staff with the support, opportunities, and a learning environment they need to reach their full potential."

Jarrell ISD is one of the fastest-growing school districts in the state. Superintendent Dr. Toni Hicks, who nominated the board for the honor, applauded the trustees for their unwavering commitment to providing our families with the best resources to support students and set them up for success.

"Our Board of Trustees leads with students at the heart of every decision," Dr. Hicks said. "Whether discussing policy, setting priorities, or approving the budget, they remain focused on creating the best opportunities for students while supporting the teachers and staff who make that success possible. This recognition is a well-earned reflection of their commitment."

As the 2026 Regional Outstanding School Board, the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees now advances as Region 13's nominee for the 2026 Outstanding School Board award, which will be announced during the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Convention this fall.

Summer break? Not for these athletes! 💪🔥

Our JRMS boys and girls have been putting in the work all summer long, showing up in the weight room, grinding on the field, and staying committed to getting better every day.

Success isn’t built overnight. It’s earned through early mornings, hard work, dedication, and a willingness to keep pushing when nobody is watching. These student athletes are setting the standard and proving that champions are made during the offseason.

We are proud of their effort, attitude, and commitment to their teammates and their school. Keep working, keep growing, and keep chasing your goals!
