Unfortunately, tonight's show was a wash with the rain and no reschedule date. With that Congratulations to Nelson on 6th place for LO206 Adult and Witke on 2nd in JR2 this season. We will soon be looking to the 2022 season. We have a few thoughts in place for next year moving forward. If any potential sponsors would like to reach out, feel free. Until then see ya'll next season!!

Results are now official, Congratulations again to Richard Nelson in wheeling the Stevenson Racing #26 kart to a podium finish, including leading a lap in the feature. Richie will also complete the season 6th overall in the points standings. In the 12 race weeks, Richie totaled 8 top 3 heat finishes, 3 top 5 feature runs, and 1 podium finish and also gained almost a second and a half in speed, moving from a 14.1 lap time to a 12.861 just a week ago.

To start off with, we want to apologize to everyone who was disappointed with tonight's results. Lucas showed stunning promise tonight qualifying 4th, which turned a ton of heads. Going into the even-odd heat he took respect feeling, that he achieved too much of a head start on the initial race start tagging the breaks which put him side by side for third out of turn 2. Lucas fell to fourth place and followed understanding he didn't have the needed experience, yet pushed the other #26 kart lap after lap. Noticing a handling issue Lucas went for the pass, but was involved in contact on the exit of turn 4, which injured Lucas's left arm (hopefully just a bruise). Lucas in turn finshed 4th, nervous to try again. In the 2nd heat, Lucas elected to start at the rear in the fast heat and simply shook down the kart for additional issues. In the feature Lucas started 8th and was running 8th literally pushing multiple karts in front of him. However, about 5 laps in the kart started having a "grinding" sound to it and Lucas immediately pulled off...after investigating the issue and falling 10 laps down, it was determined the right side nerf bar fell out and was put back in place. Lucas went back out for another 10 laps, but as chaos started erupting at the front of the field, he pulled off only completely completing half the laps, with concerns for his own safety.. his remarks were simple...." We have a rocket, but 10 laps down isn't worth injuring myself more." It wasn't the night he or we wanted...We promise he wasn't content. It just wasn't our night, between damage and injury, our driver did what was right for them. Richie will be back in the kart to finish the season. Thank you again to all those who helped, get this set up for Lucas.
